What is SMP?
Scalp Micropigmentation is a highly advanced, non surgical hair loss treatment which has been soaring in popularity over recent years. It’s commonly referred to as a medical hair tattoo, or cosmetic tattoo. The procedure is performed by a highly skilled practitioner using specialised techniques and equipment developed for the scalp only.
We aim to camouflage the area of hair loss by placing thousands of tiny ink deposits into the dermal layer of the scalp, mimicking the appearance of real hair follicles. This is achieved by using varying shades of carbon-based pigment and micro needles for the most authentic results.
SMP is best suited to those who keep their hair shaven down to buzz cut level, or for those who would like to add density to thinning areas of longer hair.
